But those last two seemed to stop mattering immediately after the breaches, Arlene Machiavelli was by all accounts a dead woman, and Beth Solberg was becoming less useful day by day. She'd had other identities in the past, each with their own meticulously detailed backgrounds, but all of these faded from memory when she was finished with them. They all would eventually, all except for her two real identities.]
