Yes, but that doesn't mean there's not something that can still be done. Even if you can't break the curse, you might be able to help in another way. You have an advantage no one else does, you can remember.

It's a curse. It's one I would never inflict on my daughter.

Holding multiple lives in your mind? Those memories fighting each other. No one can stand it for long.

It's a simple enough question.

And you would remind those of us who would just as soon attempt to delete said memories.

I... have only ever had one identity, presuming ports and floods and such are excluded, given as these personalities are temporary.

That's the point. They do count. Do you still remember those lives? They're still in there.

I don't mind flood and port selves. I suppose I could handle a large number of them.

I've experienced three.

There are other things about being here that are worth it. Sometimes I actually like living someone else's life for a few days.

I am no fool, and it is not impossible. A simple procedure can erase any amount of information stored in my database.

There are some who have been here for over a year, you know? And a lot of them seem just fine. [ You know, on the outside at least. ]
