.005 - here's some advice from uncle jefferson

You know what the real problem here is? It isn't the big bad aliens, or the bad driving or even the fact that you Wardens haven't a clue of what you're doing and yet you think you know better than us about our lives.

It's that you don't belong here. It's the boat. It's not a place of redemption, it's a floating psych experiment and all of you are just playing along. Like sheep. But at least sheep don't make play that they're something they're not.

Why not play long with something that has goals you respect?

Tell me, what is it about our qualifications that you question?

I don't deny that this might be some large psychological experiment on the Admiral's part.

Have you been assigned a warden yet?

Incorrect. Difference between "playing along" and "not having choice".

Then what should you do, Comrade, as an inmate? If you're brought onto this ship and told that the only way off is to redeem yourself, even if you don't believe it's anything more than an experiment, what else can you do?

[Jeez, Jefferson, why are you bugnuts.]

Where were you? [She doesn't think she has to explain more than that.]
